Clonsilla Meeting House, Dublin
A 700m2 meeting house, this building provides a chapel, 13 teaching spaces, a baptismal font and the usual ancillary facilities.
The exterior includes reconstituted stone detailing while the chapel interior is highlighted with steamed beach timberwork.
This project was carried out for one of HBK architects largest clients, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
The client has a portfolio of standardised plans but on this occasion we were given some licence to tailor the building to the site.
