Modern house in a rural setting.
Designed as part of a two house development where the adjoining owner wanted a very conservative farmhouse, this project makes reference to agricultural "outbuildings" to achieve contrasts between solid and void.
Located on the edge of the site to avoid the suburban front garden the building forms a sun trap, while living spaces are open plan and interact with the south & east facing gardens.
